TMB mom and church requiring unpaid service for formerly paid jobs

so i was compaining to TBM mom about the church making its members do all the janitorial work and that they are cutting 70% of paid employees and i said it was to save money and she didnt believe me and said the church has pretty much unlimited money and that they are only doing it to bless the members

It's not that the church is hurting financially ...

... it's that the members are prospering JANITORIALLY !

This kind of thinking is just scary. Basically the church could require its members to do anything and people will just believe it is there to "bless them".

Those blessings are for the church- not the people.

When they say the *members* will be blessed, they mean the members of the First Presidency.
