Waldo Hospital? I always thought that was such a funny name for a hospital. But my husbands brother was born at Northgate Hospital, so he always joked how they got his brother at the mall.
You know, just for the record, I'd almost rather live where I grew up than Barstow. Just for the record. NormaRae can back me up here. Barstow's also kind of a crappy place, but there is a bakery there that makes kick-ass donuts. Or did. What do I know now?
Yeah, think Borax. If you've ever taken Hwy 58 from Barstow to Bakersfield (and for some reason most people have), you've been to My Home Town.
I grew up in southern Minnesota, but have lived in the Tampa FL area for the past 33 years. I wonder why hardly anyone on this board is from the east coast?
Born and raised in So Cal. Hated it. Now in N. CA - True north. Not San Francisco which is oddly rather central but is often confused with northern California. (Grr...a pet peeve) North Coast CA - in the redwoods.
Yeah, well I'm sure they'd be more concerned with the Steve Bensons and Richard Packhams of the world, than little ole me. I'm not a public figure. I don't go to any Mormon sites. I just live in here. A Mormon would have to come in here to actually be influenced by me.
Grew up in SLC. Now live in Boulder, CO (the opposite of SLC in political matters and up-tightness. We are a mid sized city ran by ex hippies who are artsy older folks now........real liberal. I LOVE IT!!
I'm from the best part of Utah. Moab. If you haven't been there, you are missing out! I've heard it's one of the least Morg populated towns in Utah, which is an extra plus. Now I'm in slc/Philly
Born and raised in Green Bay, Wisconsin. military wife for 24 years. Quantico,Virginia Cincinnati, OH 29 Palms,Ca Yuma Az. Now in St. George, Utah (Love St. George!)
Born in Oakland CA- lived all over California (north and south) 1 1/2 years at BYU- Currently (past 9 years) living in Redding (as in Redneck Redding-'beer, bibles, bullets & boats') California-'The North State' right on the Sacramento River :) Really pretty.
