I remember talking about this with my fellow "brethren" growing up. We would sit in our tent on scout trips and talk about how you can tell if someone is an evil spirit or not using handshakes. I remember feeling like I had special and unique knowledge that some day I would be sure to use to root out some evil spirit, or meet an angel. We would go on and on talking about what we were going to do when we met that evil spirit. I even remember some roll-playing of the scenarios JS described.
