Farmville may be the last vestage of anything remotely mormon in my life.

1. I have to work at it at regular intervals.

2. I get meaningless rewards like a unicycle for tending to my callings.

3. My little dude avatar walks around like a zombie.

4. I have to convert others so I can have enough "neighbors" to qualify me for additional blessing.

5. I can buy blessings with real money.

6. I can start a cooperative just like early mormons did. My ZCMI is a winery, however.

7. If I dig around on my farm, I get stuff like stones and gloves and tools and junk. Gold can be found too by digging, but not plates.

8. If I get enough shovels, I can dig a HUGE hole and hide shit.

9. I can change my little dude from dark and loathesome to white a delightful.

10. If I get good at something, I get a sign to hang out, kinda like a merit badge from scouting.

11. I can invite a stallion to come have sex with my mares. That HAS to be poly-something.

12. I have a deseret.

I stopped playing farmville. My farm was huge and it took forever to plow plant and harvest. I used the tractor for awhile but gave up because I didn't want to pay my real money to get farmville cash for gas.

They have a combine now that plows plants and harvests all in one swoop and you can trade bakery goods and wine for fuel.

I can't believe the number of my family and friends that are playing these games on FB.

I've had to hide a number of them on my wall just to get away from them.

I have the impression that she spends a lot of time on it because I see her talking about it with others.

I unfriended a person for bombarding me with Farmville posts, before I found out how to disappear them.

I'm pretty sure I know you from other forums, :) and, while I hardly ever play Farmville anymore, I still check the requests my Farmville friends make and respond to those pretty regularly.

And yes, it's a stupid, addictive, time and money wasting game -- but kind of fun at the same time. Which would make it an improvement on most religions, I think. :D

A lot of active MoRons I know are obsessed with Farmville-What I don't understand is why they can't do their HT/VT but they can spend hours DAILY on such a waste of time leaving crap for each others farms!!!
