29 years ago today, I was checking into the MTC to begin the worst 18 months of my life. (missions changed to 18 months a year into my mission)

When I think of how miserable that day was, I wish I could have had the courage to just walk out. But I was too afraid of the repercussions. I also wish I could have looked 29 years into the future to see how much better my life would be compared to what it was then.

Anyway, my life is great now and I can look back at the whole thing as a life experience that can learn from. I'll never again let my life be controlled by anyone but me.

I'll be tossing back a few alcoholic beverages tonight to celebrate. Cheers!

When I say "a few" I really mean 7 to 8. Thanks for your support!
