Heard soprano Mirella Freni sing some aria from Puccini's Madama Butterfly.

I know it's "true" because tears started flowing from my eyes and my bosom was burning.

+1 ipo!~

I have a strong testimony of the Grateful Dead although I also feel the spirit quite strongly when listening to Pearl Jam. Wait, I have a testimony of Jim Morrison as well.

Hmm, that's 3!!

I love this!! The only times I have ever had spiritual experiences were while listening to the melodic riff of a heavy metal song, or experiencing it live at a concert.

Especially whenever they play with a symphonic orchestra like they did back in 1999.

I didn't actually see that concert, but I do have both the record and the DVD of it.

I felt LOTS of things at my Led Zeppelin concert- I also saw the mist hanging in the air...I am *sure* there is spiritual significance there! I felt the burning in my nostrils and throat so I didn't just think it- I know it.

INDEED!!

thxs all, it gets waaaay too serious around here sometimes. Feels good to laugh

I was with my brother in the late 60s when we made weekly trips to Golden Gate park in San Fran for the music. He went into a liquor store and sometime later as we listened to the bands he told me he had met God in there. Of course I thought it was the windowpane acid.

Go figure....he is still an active Jehovahs Witness to this day.

lol...how did I EVER become a Mormon...boggles my brain

Flo Rida! Good song to make you feel young and jumping again.
