I've received a phone call from an award winning reporter, who has written for Newsweek for 17 years, plus many other publications. He has become aware of a "story" brewing among a small group of former Mormons. He has been told that there are a few people who were filmed for the "I Am a Mormon" campaign -- and have since left the church and are trying to get their videos taken down. The church has refused to do so, and they did sign an agreement that the church would be the sole owner of their videos.
Does anyone reading this know anyone who falls into this group -- former members who are trying to get the church to take down and give up their videos. I am also going to put him in touch with some who have filmed "I Am An Ex-Mormon" videos, but this first group will be much harder to find.
If you do know someone in this category, please send me the information to pass on to him. If confidentiality is needed, he will give it. The story he is working on is prime right now because of the Romney capaign. Here is a link to his bio (very impressive).
