So my TBM friend (who just got off his mission) and I went to the mall to shop for Christmas presents the other day, and he decides to stop by Deseret Book to find a present for his Dad.

Upon checking out the cashier informed him that he was a preferred customer of some sorts and that he would get 10% back from his purchase.

Me, being the heathen exmo jokester that I am, hysterically remarks to my friend (just loud enough so that the large holiday crowd of people waiting in line and cashiers could hear)

"10% of your income built this store... and they reward you with 10% off your purchase! bwahahaha!!!!"

Suddenly I was surrounded by a large crowd of now unfriendly Mormons who were giving me the stare down. My friend actually busted up laughing and remarked that he's never realized the irony.
