From Wikipedia: Samuel the Lamanite was a prophet in the Book of Mormon sent by the Lord around 5 B.C. to teach and warn the Nephites just before the Savior's birth. The account is recorded in Helaman 13-16.
I'm left to ponder whether I disagree with that statement. While I’ll admit it’s miraculous that multiple attempts haven’t been made on his life already, I just don’t see Beck jumping off any high walls with his chubby little cheeks and fat ass without snapping a leg into multiple fragments. As for inciting the masses to anger by telling them things they really don’t want to hear and making a general spectacle of himself, the comparison is spot on.
Samuel the Lamanite - A fictional character. Only a religious sect thinks he was real. Some would call this a delusion.
Glenn Beck - A real person who lives in his own delusion. Proof that he is out of touch with reality was when the phones rang all day in Newark Ohio after Beck used the Bat Creek Stone (a known artifact fraud) to argue for Hebrews in Ancient America.
