This was posted on the old board and I sat on the link for a wile because I wanted to comment badly but didnt get a chance to.

http://teachingselfgovernment.com/videos/

Heres the youtube link to the program i'm talking aout.

It's all about sending badly behaved teens to strict families to straighten them out in this case a mormon family.

Two points that bother me a lot!
The first is on the second vidio when the house rules are being talked about and the clothing rules. 'The way that you present yourself to the world shows the world what staitment your makeing' OK I understand that so does that mean god actualy does care about what we wear and how we look? now see it from my point of view and yes i've been on the board for a wile but due to a few problems I had to change names to one thats well fitting. I cant see well so bieng almost blind and constantly worried if i'm givieng a good impression and keeping to the rules about the clothing and why... Does anyone here find that slightly messed up?

'The only time we grow is when we do things we dont want to do.' start of part five. Isnt that the mormon relegion in one nice little centance? and isnt it kind of describieng everything about the relegion? Sacrifice for a reward thats hard to define. Sacrifice for a reward later in some afterlife. Sometimes messing with wants and needs because you could always suffer so much more you dont really6 need much maybe not even food if you can get eternal salvation so if taken to far that can screw with prioroties.

I asked my 8 year old what she learned about last Sunday. She said the lesson was about what we can do for the Church.
I pressed her for specifics. "I should help clean the Church."
That was it. She couldn't remember anything else. So all she learned las week was "Jesus wants me for a Janitor."

LOL I like that...could be catchy...

Jesus wants me for a janitor
To clean for Him each day.
In ever way try to please Him
With mop, with broom, no pay....

A janitor, A janitor
Jesus wants me for a janitor.
A janitor, a janitor
I'll be a janitor for HIM

Ah the mormon church where it is more important to look good than to be good. Greed is great as long a you pay your tithing and wear a white shirt.

I think a bit of dissapline was good for the kids there but I'd hate to think that they would bring some of the more undesirable aspects of what they lerned home with them.
