I knew that members now clean the chapels, but this is the first time I have personally heard that the temple matron and volunteers have to clean a temple.
But since "they hardly have anyone attending the Memphis temple," it wouldn't take long to clean it.
LDS, Inc... HAS NO SHAME of how they 'enlist' the efforts of "members"; I think they're Sheeple who aren't allowed to view a dispassionate perspective of what they're about...
LDS, Inc. Couldn't survive without the Blatant Brainwashing that it survives on; the culture (and Lies) regarding 'Forever Families' is their worst MINDFUCK/ the worst Ever, Anywhere, Anytime.
so it's been going on for at least 8 or more years. They passed a sign up sheet around in RS. I ended up vacuuming the locker rooms and the halls and rooms where the temple workers hung out on their breaks. The cleaning session didn't start til 9:00 or 10:00 p.m. as I recall, and I didn't get home until almost midnight. Fun times.
It is yet another sign of Morg cheapness. I've come up with a little hymn in honour of it.
We are all enlisted in the church cleaning team. Happy are we! Brainwashed are we! Cleaning up the chapel not for pay but for free, We shall grin and bear it by and by. Hark! To the toilets brushes in hand, Cleaning the stains off, isn't it grand? And yet we still have to give our ten percent. While they're eagerly, eagerly hording every cent!
