The BM Jesus killed all those millions by burning and sinking their cities after He forgave those who actually knew him and then rejected and killed him.
After suffering for ALL mankind in Gethsemane and willingly dying for them on the cross, and after asking God to forgive his killers, he goes off and kills millions in the Americas who had never heard, seen, mocked or harmed him because they would not believe the prophets from years and centuries before his birth?
Hinckmeister was absolutely correct when he said that his church followed a different Jesus.
The BOM Jesus is so wrong! The bible Jesus states 1) Jesus would never hurt his people, 2)We as people on this earth "stated in the Bilbe", never hurt his people!
Luke 22:36 Then said he unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one.
Matt 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.

These swords that Jesus refers to in Luke and Matthew were actually wooden clubs with pieces of obsidian embedded in them, they were to be used for purely ornamental purposes while drinking unfermented grape juice (which they called "wine") and executing the "penalties" while doing an endowment session in the Jerusalem Temple.
The BOM misses the Divine Plan. Jesus died for all; the Kingdom (1000 Year Judgement Day) is to bring them all back to give them an opportunity to know the difference between living during a time where they could experience living without the Heavenly Father's PLan for them, and what the result is. That is what Satan's lie was all about (You will become like Gods to decide for yourselves) the results are obvious. Learning from this experience now will provide the basis for the gift of the atonement. Jesus took Adam's place to give us this opportunity.
I had to hear it myself when I heard about that. Here is the context: "When you give a BofM to your friends, explain to them that it is not a novel. It is not a history. It is another testament of Jesus Christ."
So there you have it. Its not a novel, and its not history.
