Well...

It is a place for all those people who are psychologically prone to join or follow a cult from joining a more dangerous cult. Just imagine if all those 2 or 3 million active Mormons joined up with David Koresh, Jim Jones, Heaven's Gate, etc.

Sure, at least its that many more people that probably will not be recruited for Scientology and other cults, though TSCC is not much better these days. (n/t)
