What should we think of this?
The proclamation states:
All human beings--male and female--are created in the image of God. Each is a beloved spirit son or daughter of heavenly parents, and, as such, each has a divine nature and destiny.

So we wonder:
If the church continues to claim there is a Heavenly Mother, why are people excommunicated or otherwise disciplined in the church for believing, teaching about, or otherwise using the doctrine?

I'm afraid you are looking for something that doesn't exist in Mormon Doctrine - consistency...

If the mormon church were fair, there wouldn't be a mormon church.

... eventually teaching about multiple Heavenly Mothers. Not only is HF Celestially married to one HM but to many, many HM's. Polygamy is alive and well in Mormon doctrine. Like Muslims, Mormons men can expect large harems of women (Heavenly Mothers) to cavort with and to use to create their worlds with IF they are good little Mormon soldiers and remain true to the faith (follow the profit and don’t question). The only way to avoid addressing this remaining principle of Celestial Mormon polygamy is to publicly deny the whole idea of a Heavenly Mother. It can be speculated about in whispers but not where any non-Mormon might hear.

Heavenly Mother also contradicts monotheism. If HF has a Goddess wife (and indeed, multiple Goddess wives) then Mormonism loses their claim to be monotheistic. Losing their claim to monotheism would counter Mormonism’s claim to be a Christian church since Christianity is monotheistic. Suddenly the religion has many Gods and not just one. Mormons would have to dance extra fast to try to explain this one away to a greater Christian community already suspicious of Mormons.

Boggles my mind. Confusing and disturbing at the same time.

Is BKP a true apostle or a mormon troll?
