For me, once I shed the garments I began to feel human and felt a stronger sense of human sexuality begin to blossom within me.

My dad once told me he felt naked without his garments on. Well dad, that's freedom you are feeling.

I no longer fear the invisible threats of danger that felt so real when I first removed my garments. I no longer am embarrassed to change clothes at the gym in front of strangers who often stared at my long underwear.

I enjoy the beauty of the human body more now that my eyes have been opened.

How has your personal journey changed the way you act or feel?

Well, I'll always be MODEST, but I don't think that is my mormonism. My daughter is TBM and likes to skinny dip.

But sexually? Ask my boyfriend!?!?

I was just reading edmarc's remarks about people just give into their sexual desires. Yep--one of the best things I've ever done.

AFter the mind fuck of mormonism and sex and my being a true mormon virgin at age 27 when I married--to be with a heterosexual man at age 48 was one of the most healing things that has ever happend to me.

By the way, I'm going to visit him for 9 days on Saturday--can't wait to get out of here.

It hasn't changed much for me, other than less guilt over harmless things like masturbation.

I always had a very satisfactory sex life. I didn't get pulled into any of the mormon taboos with oral sex etc. And I always like R movies, especially ones that showed boobies!

My wife looks sexier without knee high underwear though.

I would have to say yes. Sex in my marriage has always been great, of course I have nothing to compare it to since I was a virgin prior. As long as we were both comfortable with something, it was okay by us, no matter what some perverted wrinkly half-dead man commanded.

The yes part comes by way of masturbation and the guilt I used to feel over it. Now, I feel free to explore and I really do feel like my sexuality has improved immensely for it.

Ditching the garmies was huge. I have never felt so unsexy, unattractive and plain hideous. I also love not feeling compelled to put them on after sex. Sleeping naked is divine sometimes.

...and I thought *I* was a walking, talking hormone.

I didn't experience my first orgasm until I had left my TBM husband and the mormon church. In fact, I used to loathe sex, now I can't get enough of my boyfriend.

I have been sexually active for 16 years (I'm in my 30's now), 12 of them with my DH.
In the 2+ years since leaving TSCC, dh & I discovered female ejaculation.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Female_ejaculation

The first time it happened I was embarrassed, thinking I'd lost control of my bladder or smthg, so we researched it, (a new habit since our exit) and it opened up a whole new world of mutual pleasure (he takes allot of pride in being able to make it happen at will ;-).

Once we removed the physical barriers (garments), mental barriers (pure thoughts), and emotional barriers (god in the bed/bedroom) every aspect of our relationship improved, of which sex was just one small (but in no way insignificant) part.

I discovered that the bum is an erogenous zone since leaving the cult. The orgasms that I experience from anal penetration are much more powerful than those originating in the penis. Like female ejaculation most people haven't even heard of such a thing. I feel sorry for them, missing out on so much pleasure because of sexual hang-ups, lack of imagination, or simple prudery.

Our bodies are hard wired to gush all sorts of feel-good hormones as a reward for sex.

If we can just free up our biggest erogenous zone, the mind, we can unlock all those chemical release hatches.

And like most activities, it's more enjoyable when you include a friend...or two! ;-)

Hell yes!! - Not a lot of room for gay sex in the mormon church.

Seriously, I spent a lot of years hating myself. Then I finally realized it wasn't me with the problem - it was the mormons. And I've been ridiculously happy ever since!

I was pretty sexual while in the church but I was VERY secretive. And I didn't do anything unusual. Talking about sex, thinking about sex, actually having sex or masturbating were all shameful in some way. Not any more.

My momorn buddies whine CONSTANTLY that they are on rations

Sex is good. Incredibly good. It was the very first commandment

Get busy!

I am paraphrasing, the actual words are:

Go down, find another human and share sunsets, and dinner, and then lose yourself in ecstacy giving to one another...

Gotta go, the viagra just kicked in!
