for his insight into gays some 27 years ago. If I still had the letter (which I burned because it caused me to have DARK FEELINGS)--I'd post it. My dad asked me for it 3 years ago as he was going to publish it in the SLTribune.

He didn't even address gays--he told me he was too important to be bothered by me (my bishop had told me I could write him). He berated me. He almost caused my suicide had my sister and BIL not been there when I opened the letter.

Bitter? You bet I'm bitter SOME DAYS. BUT most of the time, if people like me are quiet--if we don't stand up for gay rights, then there will be more and more women just like me, more and more children just like mine, and more and more men just like my husband who find themslves picking up the pieces of the mess that our lives became.

The rest of the time, I'm grateful I married my ex becuase the gay issue GOT US OUT THE CHURCH. I say we saved each other now. He is a wonderful intelligent individual and I could have done much worse marrying a "regular" mormon guy. I'm now back with the love of my life who I gave up at age 20 because he wasn't mormon and have been for 6 years.

You might be surprised that I still retain ALL my mormon friends. They may not like that I no longer believe, but they still are my friends.

I took LEMONS and I MADE LEMONADE--my family was not destroyed. The mormon church tried--but they were not able to do it.

And when Boydie dies from drowning in his own smug, I plan to go to his grave and perform Satanic rituals on it.

That sounds like a fun and rewarding way to spend a Saturday. I even have some crystals and stuff I picked up during one of my more hippie phases we could use. And I have a boatload of candles from my "food storage" that are red. Let me know.

Now we just have to wait for the old geezer to keel over.

How many people do we need for a coven, anyway?

I have no idea how many people it takes to make a coven, but from personal experience, I do know that a Crash of MILFS requires 6 middle-aged hotties. ;)

*snort*

13 people are the general standard for a coven, but it's not a hard and fast rule.

It's particularly effective at family reunions or in sunday school.

is a privilege, not a right. I, too, will be clothed. Though I think I'll wear a tank or something, given the sacredness of the occasion.

I will be honest with you cl2. I found BKP's talks and pamplets a little odd and unfortable like Spencer's Miracle of Forgiveness. The church does make youth feel very guilty about masturbation and that didn't sit right with me either.

BKP is not popular. He is a very stern individual who rarely smiles.

I read somewhere that he chewed out an organist for playing music other than hymns. The organist then proceeded to play "We thank thee o god for a prophet in a minor key. BKP gave her a crust glance.
