Continuing to read Mormon Odyssey, and she's talking about some writings that are carved on the ledges behind the Manti temple? Anyone know about these?

It will have a completely different meaning when a Gay guy does it!
I was in the institute program and struggling to be "normal" in the 60's. The artist was an instructor at one of the colleges in LA and visited San Diego State with his portfolio under his arm. I thought his artwork shouted, "GAY" at the top of its lungs. Those images have always made me nervous in a book of "scripture". They simply scream "@#$%&". He did seem to be a tad light in his loafers. By the way there is nothing wrong with that as I am too.
Well, from my experience--first of all, GayLayAle--go ahead and hijack the board. I, for one, enjoy your threads and posts. There are others not so much.
BUT NONE of those pictures in the BofM look like any mormon guys I dated--NONE. Now my current boyfriend (especially at age 26 when I dated him years ago).
Manti was supposed to be where Moroni walked through on his way to New York. There is a map that Brigham Young had, supposed to have been written by Joseph Smith.
