I spend on average three hours per day reading posts on RFM. Some days it’s only about a half-hour and others it can be five or six hours. For the most part I do this four to five days per week. If a post has links included then I peruse those as well. If there are podcasts then I listen to those also. This has aided in my recovery process and I find myself longing to read posts if I miss more than a few days. I've been reading posts on RFM for about ten years and post occasionally. I changed my UN when the format changed (old one was too long). Currently, I’m a single semi-retired guy so I have the time.

How many hours per day on average do you as readers spend on RFM and similar sites.

THANK-YOU Eric, et al, for your time & efforts providing this valuable service.

For letting all of us know others spend a lot of time here besides the ones who post regularly...

I work 4-5 days a week most weeks, so I don't spend much time on those days I'm driving, but I do know when I get into "composing a post," such as something on LDS History or the DNA issue, that it can eat up the hours...

I suppose I should spend the time cleaning my place up, but somehow this place is a powerful magnet...

At least it beats sitting on barstool...

I spend about 45 minutes every other day, and sometimes will skip 2 to 9 days without any reading. When first recovering I was here to you to 4 hours a day every day. But as we recover I think we use the board less and less, but I'm always willing to help others, I hope that some of my post do that.

I'll be honest with you. I spend way too much time here, but I have learned a lot of good and bad about the church. It has also confirmed things I had already suspected.

When I turn on my computer in the mornings........I check my emails, Facebook and come here.

Yes, Thank You Eric.

What's even better is meeting the people here in person.
Our North Orange County group meets monthly.
It will be the 6th meet up Feb 13.

I have found a place that validates my feelings....and has helped me in my journey out of the church.

My goal here is not necessarily to journey out of church, but learn why others are disgruntled with the church as I am.

Not counting porn?

I use this site to kill time, and get information. The nature of my self-employment is sporadic hours of work scattered throughout the day. I kill time here and on other sites in the down time.

It would be better spent reading good literature probably, but this is so much easier.

Yesterday was the first time in a long time that I should have done some other things, but stuck around here reading way too long. That happens rarely.

I'm a nanny so I have a lot of free time when the kids are napping and in school. I come here more than probably necessary.

I have it open during the day at work, and check it every chance I have a quick second to at least see what's going on. If I have a free minute, I'll post something really fast.

Then I check throughout the night sporadically on my iphone.

If I have something lengthy to compose, I'll wait until I get home from work though.

I don't even want to think about how much my "total" time would be because it's a min here, a few minutes there throughout the day, seven days a week.

But...I...can't...stop..myself.

I work at home and I work on "my own time"--and probably 24 to 30 hours a week is all I work.

Lately, I've been here a lot. Sometimes, I'm not here that much.

I come here more out of needing a break from my work--bored with work--don't want to work. IT has been bad the past few days (trying to work).

The past few days, too many hours. BUT when you see a train wreck like what happened the past few days, you can't help but keep coming back to check it out.

I read here every day.

I find it informative, good for my soul and lots of times very comical.

Thank you everyone, it does me good

But, hey, it beats looking at porn all the time. No pun intended.

I also spend wayyyyyyy to much time here. But it has helped me so much. Not only have I learned about the lies of the mormon church but it has forced me to really study the history of the church. And I get to hear from all kind of amazing people.
