Take a look at this!! You can't tell me the church isn't in a panic about the loss of tithing money caused by the ever-increasing exits from the church! This is so over the top it's almost hard to believe they did this.

If I'd just paid to go to London for the first time, and that's what I saw, I'd be very upset.

That would be the last thing I would want to see or think about if I were in London.

If I worked there, and had to look at that every day I'd really be disgusted.

I wonder how many interviews they did to get the few positive ones that were shown.

That was my first thought as well.

Wowee. That's nuts. Don't see how it will do much good with the new generation since they're just going to google it and find out the truth.

Interstingly on the video someone mentions that normally they'd just go to google. If they're hoping people won't go to google to get their information, they probably shouldn't blantenly mention it in their propaganda video.

LDS church obviously still has lots of money to be able to afford this massive amount of advertising.

This is all about damage control. Remember Mitt the twit? He didn't exactly endear the Brits to the morg.

What a fake news-cast video. Just as fake as the church.

This will probably backfire on them. If people are actually interested in learning about them, Google will give them the truth.

Reminds me of the "Jay walking" segment on the Jay Leno show, where he talks to people in the street and they invariably tell him what they think he wants to hear.
LOL.
Or they outright lie.

This campaign is a waste of time and effort.
People may be polite about Mormonism but that does not mean they will join.

It looks desperate. The UK is really their last stronghold in Europe.

Deco is right. The morg is struggling and dying in Europe. This is a pathetic attempt to survive over there. But the Brits are not fools. They won't buy into this.

Turd polishing at its best.

This is obscene! All that money spent on advertising when it could be going to the poor and hungry.

OK, so the church can afford to blitz London on every inch of prime advertising space. For. a. month.

Remind me again why they fired all the church janitors?

;o)

Maybe they're hoping to snag a few big time investment bankers. Just think of the tithes.

I love how the lady said she'd go to Google. Oh...please do!

Gross and extreme what eye sores! Where are the free thinking rebellious souls that say what they think? I agree that the whole news thing was fake a Brigham Blonde with a big smile talking about "The Church".

It's all over FB too - there is a blurb about it from LDS Newsroom or some such place.

"...they show all different types of people..." Too bad they didn't have a picture of the profit (i mean prophet) and the other 14. Or how about the amount of money going from the UK to SLC, UT?

When was the last time you saw an ad for Maseratti or Lotus? They don't need to advertise. Everybody knows they are top quality.

I agree- the amount of money spent on this campaign was undoubtedly obscene.

We need to go there and under each ad, we should magic marker in, "if you want to know more about the truth about Mormonism, visit Mormonthink.com".
That will really get some publicity.

... and things don't change once you actually are a Mormon either ... the same four Sunday School lessons over and over and over again ... with a Christ-directed prophetic utterance never to deviate from the "lesson plan"

The YouTube on my computer is not allowing any comments. I wonder if TSCC is behind that.

Yeah. Whoever posted it didn't allow comments. He's knows exactly what many of those comments would be about: the truth! And thats the last thing he wants people to hear!

Why didn't they put an ad on every step of the escalator? That's about the only place they didn't have an ad!

Don't worry. That campaign will have as much effect as the one in the US. Pretty much none.
