Tomorrow, at approximately 7 pm, "Hot Chickadees Dancing & Drinking Night" is combining forces with "The Bastard is Sleeping With The Fat Intern Night."

I've had exactly two cocktails: a Long Island Ice Tea (no like) and something else with cranberry juice and vodka that I can't remember the name of.

So, your mission my fellow RFMer's, is to provide me with a long list of cocktail suggestions that might address the needs of both of the aforementioned goals for tomorrow night. It is imperative that I succeed.

Fanta Grape Soda
Smirnoff Grape Vodka.

Yeah, it's a bit trailer park, I know.

Both margaritas and mojitos ("mo-HEE-toe") come in many different flavors and go down easily.

Experiment and have fun!

The trusty old screwdriver

Vodka and oj

Wine spritzers are any wines with sprite

Still can't leave this alone!

I drink chardonnay and cabernet wines, single malt scotches and ale.

But those are not newbie drinks. My wife is skilled bar tender, and I love helping people choose drinks!

We entertain a lot, and it's very fun to try new things

Post how the party went!

So are you making drinks or you want good drink suggestions? My FAVORITE drink is a lemon drop. I've tried making them with horrible success until I found out you buy the mixer at the store! (still haven't tried making them) but THOSE WILL F YOU UP! (if that's what you're looking for). DELICIOUS!!! You gotta try it!

I love you all. Remember that, even when I don't remember who you are for a day or so. :)

I would suggest trying some nice craft ales.

But then, I would, wouldn't I? ;o))

I was expecting you and Timothy to have similar responses. :) Maybe I'll have one just for you!

Matt and I are both "well-rounded" in the alcohol arts.

I'm more a specialist where Matt tends to lean toward expanded horizons.

In any event, bars an pubs tremble at our approach during Happy Hour.

Party on, mate!

Timothy

Nobody mentioned dacquiri or bloody Mary. Are they passé?

Those are summer and brunch drinks :)

I like melon balls- vodka, Midori, and pineapple juice
Cosmopoliton- vodka, cranberry juice, Pernod

Godmothers are good shots- very cold amaretto and vodka in a shot glass

And the classic Cuba Libre- rum and Coke with a twist of lime

Have you tried a Mimosa yet? They are a little tricky,(even thought is shold be simple one part champagne
and one part thoroughly chilled orange juice.) try them at some brunch/luncheon type place. If they are good people will be commenting on them.
Hard to beat a good scotch, single malt.
Miss drinking... :)

I'm with Timmy. Stick with beer. You'll thank me later.

Beer is my favorite, too. But when I drink cocktails, I find that plain old Vodka & Tonic with a slice of lime can't be beat. It has a clean and refreshing taste, that won't come back to haunt you. Some of the more fruity and creamy drinks will make you feel full and sick, like eating to many chocolates at one time. It sounds like you want to "tie one on" so stay away from them.

If you're looking for shots, try a buttery nipple or a kamikaze

My favorites are cosmopolitan, french martini (vodka, cranberry juice, pineapple juice, peach schnapps, raspberry liqueur), midori sour, white russian, mudslide. I'm trying to get into wine, but I just love fruity drinks that mask the liquor and get me buzzed quickly.
