...what do mormons really do in a temple? Seriously, having never been through a temple ceremony, it seems to me that the only things that actually happen are necrobaptisms and weddings, and secret squirrel mumbo-jumbo, and it seems odd but somehow fitting that LDS temples are closed on Sundays (from what I've seen.)

Rant over.

Mormons have two types of buildings one is the one for normal mormons the next is for the temple recomend holders. This can create a class system within the church itself.

The temple is where one learns about all the keys, signs, and tokens needed to get into heaven. It's the only place, actually.

Oh... and you need to pay tithing to do that.

Days of the week are irrelevant.

Now that's not really true. If you become an advanced mason you learn all the same crap there.

Why can't baptisms for the dead be considered worship? Sounds just about as meaningless and invalid as every other practice in every other church...

Congratulations, you got it in one and didn't even have to go through it.

They go to church to learn to be like God, not to worship God. The temple is a prime example of this. They go to the temple to learn what they need to know to get back to God. They go for information, not worship.

They don't even know the meaning of the word.
