Seen on the Documentary Channel, dated 2009.

A gem I had never heard or even considered. A black female member said that she was told by a white sister while in the temple. "You are such a special person, but I just can't picture you as being white. So I won't recognize you when we are in the Celestial Kingdom. When you see me, make sure to introduce yourself."

I nearly fell on the floor. I forgot they would become "white and delightsome."

Mormon feelings of racism and superiority do run deep. I've seen many off handed remarks like that by people who have no idea their passive aggressive racism is so transparent.

I have to tell you, I was talking to one of my colleagues at work the other day, a man of African American lineage. As he left my office, I must admit feelings of dismay...and a bit of shame for having belonged to an organization so steeped in bigotry.

And the amazing thing is that I really believe most momos secretly harbor racist beliefs just as they believe polygamy is of God.

Not much of a stretch there, because believing in MORmONISM is the thing that is really one HELL of big stretch.

I'm speechless!

Learning about the real doctrine of the racist lds corporation makes so many uncomfortable experiences in the lds church make sense. Unbelievable!

I remember about 8 years ago watching some stupid Born Again channel while channel-surfing. I think it was the program with the gold guilded chairs and the bouffant coiffed couple ...

Anyway, there was a segment about a Caucasian woman who had been brutally raped by a dark-skinned man and, as a result, conceived a child.

Both the lady and the bouffant born-agains were in rapture, exclaiming how precious it was that the Lord saw fit to erase all memories of that horrific rape by making her baby come out of her womb as white as washday linen. No trace of sin at all.

Isn't the Lard wonnerful?

They say that kind of stuff so innocently.
