Sung to the tune of "Jesus Wants Me for a Sunbeam"

Jesus wants me for a Janitor!
To shine his sinks each day
In every way try to sweep clean
The chapel, foyer, and classrooms

A Janitor, a janitor
Jesus wants me for a janitor
A janitor, a janitor
I'll be a janitor for him

(not very good I admit)

I made a couple of little revisions--see if this works for you.

Jesus wants me for a Janitor!
To shine his sinks each day
In every way try to keep clean
The buildings where we pray.

A Janitor, a janitor
Jesus wants me for a janitor
A janitor, a janitor
I'll be a janitor for him.

(not very good I admit) --- on the contrary, it WAS good, which is why it was so easy to revise.

I love it, though Jesus Wants Me For A Cleaner fits the tune better. And really, sinks are too antiseptic already. We need a verse about really getting in and scrubbing the toilets on your hands and knees!

Why did Primus have to post that?

Ziller has had a chorus of primary kids singing in his head all day -

“jan IT TOR!”

(cuss, cuss, grumble cuss)
