I do not temple
I do not dunk
Find Joe's gold bible
Easy to debunk

I do not tithe
Nor do I fast
The celestial kingdom?
A load of trash (received kind-rhyme-line-help here from poster)

Ward toilets and sinks
I will not touch
Leave them to Monson
To scrub and such (yeah sure, as if this would ever happen)

The Sunday Scene?
I do not miss
On Sabbaths said often
My Gawd, 'tis NOT bliss

It felt mighty freeing
Made me feel better
Licking last stamp
On Resignation Letter

A mormon no longer
And so very glad
Feeling hopeful and giddy
And no longer had

So-called church rolls on
And on without me
Aimed straight for trouble
Is what I see

Numbers are shrinking
No trivial joke
Hope that this means
Soon they will croak

Internet, I thank you
For delivering the blow
Making it possible
To end this cult's show

The truth is now easy
For all to view
Yet they'll hedge and deny
What else is new?

More denying and hedging
Spin, sputter, and spout
