Deconstructing The Book of Mormon

Hi everyone.

I am starting my journey to deconstructing the Book of Mormon. Because I was neither born into the church nor a convert, I am going to need a lot of help understanding what I am reading.

That being said, can anyone please give me a synopsis of the first five (5) chapters in 1 Nephi?
