I watched this the other night and meant to post about it. It's striking how defiant some of the women are and how dismissive the older mothers/guardians are. It's not just men pressuring the young girls. Sam Bateman is in on a 50 year sentence but still doing as much controlling as he can. Even among other filth of his kind he is a stand out. I am not sure I want to watch the Netflix.

D, I LOVE my laminate countertops. I can clean all kinds of crap off of them and not worry. Paint, different glues, cut out a pattern - no problem. I don't have to treat them. I don't have to worry about what to clean them with. Do you remember coffee tables made out of old wire spools lol :) We were happy to get hand me downs and thrilled to be able to buy new. Saving up for something?

Yes D&D!!!!!! Consumer Math, what a fantastic class. Math that MATTERS. I wish I had been offered that and I think it should be required now. How to balance a bank account. How to figure interest. That was a lovely day TG :) Before there were big conferences, people organized get-togethers. Everyone can still do those if they have the interest :) To me, the most valuable part of the conferences was when people just talked about their experiences.
