If you want to talk to them again, fine. If you want to attend meetings, do it. Whenever you get tired of having them hound you, you'll need to put your foot down, more than once. At that point, don't let them in again, even for a minute. They still see you as baptism bait at this time. They are not easily discouraged. They're likely to keep calling for a long time and will likely give yo

It's documented in the Journal of Discourses and it's quoted at the beginning of my novel. The prophet in my book tells this to his followers and shames women who aren't compliant enough to suit their husbands.

Do you have a lick of sense? Why won't you process my resignation after 40 years? You don't mind that I smear the name of your church on the internet? And make fun of you to everyone I know? Do you job or admit that you have no sense. OzDoc

And they were bothered by getting alternative activities. Sometimes they'd ask to do what the class did and then give away the finished product. I usually didn't hang them up because those parents often visited class, likely see the wall hangings and wouldn't like them if done by their children.

I can't be absolutely certain. I did meet Hilda first wife a few times, but of course she looked much different at that time.

It's well represented throughout Utah and adjoining states. AND there are also still covert polygamists in many mainstream wards. Keep your eyes and ears open and check into it where it surfaces.

Read "Plural Bride to Be" if you want to read about real life experiences in polygamy among believing mormons.

I wouldn't want to cater to someone I saw as a stalker in hopes of keeping them coming back for more. I'd rather make my point and force a measure of respect in hopes that the "stalker" would learn better manners and be friendly in ways we could both enjoy. The trouble with mormons is that they think everyone needs to come around to their thinking and abide by their expectations.

If ignoring them doesn't work, file a police report. Don't communicate one on one. Simply ignore and follow up with police documentation. Don't talk to them. Don't look at them. Don't answer their questions. Freeze them out!!

Did you see "Sleepless in Seattle?" That movie had a cute joke about this momentary common and confusing mistake. Say web, wiper, will, or well and you'll notice how your mouth puckers a bit as if you're about to say letter Y. Anyone with a phonics understanding could easily understand this. Only some typos happen because letters are together on the keyboard. I'd bet most do not.

You can't have a clear perspective when you're in the temple almost as much as you are out of it and pondering the situation freely. If the mormon churh is dependent on young kids being forced to participate in temple work, it's a sad and feeble situation. Tell them how often you'll go which is a fraction of what you're doing, then, stick to it.

It's saturated with mormon history, customs, and doctrine about a girl being forced to marry an aging "prophet," and the historic police investigations going on during that time. https://www.amazon.com/Plural-Bride-Be-Cheryl-Vaught-ebook/product-reviews/B07CZQT5Q8?reviewerType=all_reviews

Then all those who left before there was such a thing would have remained members forever. No. If they chose to leave and never went back, they were ex-members a clearly as if there had been a resignation process. No one must do anything to resign beyond walking away.
