You had an emotion experience with the BOM. Emotions are powerful but not necessarily a creditable way to determine truth. Best recommendation I can give is don't be afraid to question the validity of the BOM. Google is a great place to start. Search for evidence that supports the BOM and you'll eventually come to your own conclusion. remember if you bring questions to leaders in the church

Why do they want to turn the United states into a religious Christian theocracy? Stupid blind morons want the USA to become what they claim to despise about Muslim countries. Crazy "my god is better then your god" delusion.

Considering the localities of these meetings, it's like preaching to the choir. Kind of a turkey shoot. Most people going are already TBM and if their not then they are just being dragged in by a TBM family member. Mormons and all other religions are constantly looking for validation in one form or another. And if there is a buck to be made, then all the better. Do TBM's really think ther

He was a business man who also happened to be president of a religion that was run like a business. Hero? No, I don't think so. Monson was a stone cold business man, who used a pseudo religious ideology to justify the church's coldness toward humanity.

2011, I'd just been through the temple. After being inactive for 30 years and living in and taking part in the secular world the temple freaked me out. So I googled temple ceremony and if I remember right I found a link to a RFM post about the temple. In less then a year I resigned my membership from the cult.

If one claims to be a true atheist, one doesn't know it all. That's the whole point of being atheist.

Who would want to shoot up a church? Oh, I know a evil atheist. No, atheist are for the most part passivize. Could it be a white male, U.S. citizen, christian, gun nut, conspiracy nut, who's completely insane but because of very weak gun laws and no access to mental health, with a record of domestic abuse, who hears voices in his head and full of hate amplified by our current leader? Nah.......

400 million people in the United States. That leaves 6,600,000,000 left in the world. But when listening to American evangelist god seems so worried and obsessed with the United States. Such a narrow world view, how does that happen?

The leaders and protectors of our society here in the United State have of late gravely failed us. And more then anything I wish the Bible thumping people of the South would come out of their coma.

You might put a small fracture in the shelf of a Mormon by confronting them on the fraudulent history of the church but good luck. It would be like going into a class full police officers and telling them they are nothing put cheap tools used by the rich and powerful to keep the masses in line. With that being said koriwhore keep up the pressure, you never know maybe it might start them thin

I don't know who's more despicable the state allowing this plate to be purchased. Or the individual that buys the plate signaling his or her ignorance to the world. That being said I'm not against the state issuing it because this country affords the right of any of it's citizens to be as blissfully ignorant as they want.

In the comments all the ate up TBMs praise him for standing up for what he believes in. However, I ask what is he standing up for? He gives no details as to what about Monster marketing logos give him so much moral pain. Apparently he's not so stand up to face a lawsuit if his moral objections could be seen by Monster as liableous.

The North losses the civil war. The south becomes a christian theocracy with slavery intact. The North stays democratic but becomes economically weak. The west from Colorado onward is Mexico but California because of it's vast natural resources rebels, fights and wins independence from Mexico and becomes the most powerful country in the world. If you want a more modern context, well it's not

My hard core TBM brother in law has had prostate problems since his late 30's. Then in his 50's prostate cancer, he survived and is now 77. On the other hand I'm 63 and have enjoyed a healthy self pleasuring life style since I was a pre-teen and zero problems with my prostate. It's not a scientific comparison but I would put my money on working out a prostate keeps it healthy.

most LDS are vegetarian. Is that supposed to be a joke. My last ward before resignation was full of over weight meat eating T-Rex's. I've never meet a vegetarian Mormon and I'm 63 years old, so they must be rare. A vegetarian Mormon would be viewed the same as a liberal democrat.

In 1986 I had to wait outside the temple while my sister got married. I felt bad, unworthy and alone. Then some many years later (2011) primarily due to my sister talking up the church so much I became active again and went through the temple. I knew right away it was not of god, my mind just told me no this can't be right. So I started to question my sister and my bishop. I got cold shoulde

Making a young person feel inferior because of their sexual identity is a deplorable crime. Mormons feed on their delusional reality that they are superior to those that don't conform to their pseudo beliefs. A sad result of this is the victim believes that he or she is less then human. Less face it if your out numbered by one's who remind you how inferior you are all of your young life, is
