I'm working part time at an elementary cleaning now. It's marked on the calendars in the classrooms. What is crazy to me is none of these kids were alive when it happened. And I remember the day and was in elementary just like they are now.

I always what would happen if the BYU women's basketball team made the championship. The women's championship is always the Sunday before the men's. Would they forfeit due to it being on a Sunday? Probably won't happen with how dominant the top teams in women's basketball are.

That is true. These small schools are able to advance a few rounds. But the champion is always a power conference team. I wish someday a team like Loyola-Chicago or UMBC could win the whole tournament. Loyla-Chicago did win in the 1963 but that was a different time for college sports.

I'm trying to do my coursework at Western Governors University. I'm starting to not like how it's set up with one test to pass or fail each course. Each course material is so broad. So much reading that is mind numbing I can't focus. Then when taking the test you have no idea of what was expected and fail.

I played trombone. I wanted to quit band when I got to high school. My mom said just do one more year until the trombone is paid off. I ended up staying in band all through high school and made new friends. But I wasn't doing any advanced classes and hardly ever practiced out of school. I had two different band classes each day.
