When you say a Mormon “confident/confidante” do you mean he confides in you ? Do you feel shame ?

I get really afraid of those giant lizards scampering about, cuz I’m not sure they look where they’re going. Yeah, they could end up in Northern Europe or Africa—-the have no sense of direction—-only opposing and independent eyeballs. Wuddaya expect out of em ?

Yes, I hear (in some circles) that Summer and Nightingale are known as The Swear Pair. Could it be true ??

From what I’ve read, once a person becomes a GA, the church allegedly assumes the mortgage of the GA’s home. Supposedly, there’s a considerable NDA where if broken, the church can grab much of the GA’s assets along with demanding his million-dollar signing bonus and all church investment in the education of the GA’s children and grandchildren. Has anyone else heard/read that? I wo

Someone else said this here, I don’t remember who. “Mormonism: where Jesus can be bought for money.”

Hi Susan, you gotta stay clear of the business end of that soldering iron, that’s for sure. I don’t do commissions, but I know ppl who do, tho, whom I could put you in touch with. And you’d definitely have to keep your hubs away from this craft. If yours is anything like mine—-he just looks at stuff and it gets broken. Darling man, but . . . Luckily, my shop is 5’5” tall, and

Only a couple of women attempted to bully me. One former bishop came up, shook my hand and said it didn’t matter to him and his family that I left the church—-that I’d always be their friend no matter what. After that, no one had the power to offend me.

I love all the titles I see of Cioran’s books like “The Fall into Time.” Sounds great. People love his refreshing skepticism. EB, you always put us on to something fascinating. And, I know a lot of RfM-ers who not only see you as *better* but also extraordinary.

In March of 2013, my coworker and I tuned in to MSNBC every day to see if white smoke rose from the Vatican to announce a new Pope. There it was! —I said, hooray we’ve got a new Pope. We looked at each other and said, hey we’re not even Catholic, and then we agreed, yeah, but he’s really everybody’s Pope. That’s how I feel about Elizabeth II, I’m not British, but wasn’t she

Gleefully confined myself to my basement shop—-106 degrees outside, 82 degrees in my shop. Glance at RfM a lot, vacuum spider webs, cut glass, solder lead, and enjoying every moment. Anything that creates joy helps recovery.
