I think come the trials these two cases will be full of surprises. There may be more people involved, and i for one would hate to be on the jury of any of these cases. Who ever the jury is may need councelling after.

I was informed form someone a few wees ago that they thought Joseph Bishop has passed away. I can find no confirmation of that. All I can find is his home sold earlier this month. Can anyone confirm his death. Or any other info? I'm suspecting he is either in a care home or now living with a family member.

I used to live on Windsor Dr,, right up the street, same ward as the Osmonds. If i remember right that used to be Merrill's house about 1985, he sold it to a Dr moody for around $275,000. At he time I lived there, Alan and Wayne lived next door to each other at the end of the cul de sac. Donny had moved to another street not far down the road, and Robert Redford lived right by there on Redford D

In England where i grew up, the fave drink of Mormons (especially those who had converted and were tea and coffee drinkers) was a drink called "barleycup". Looked lie instant coffee, made the same way pour boiling water on it add sugar and milk. In fact its a rather nice drink. Missionaries used to carry little tins of it with them, to give out to those they were teaching. Still

The church will push its agenda right now ...people are living n fear and panic ...so more "open" to messages, the church will certainly take full advantage of this. The church will offer a message of "hope, peace and all will be well if you have faith". Some might fall for this as people do who are vunerble at times.

Why oh why are missionaries who die while serving a mission never mentioned during General conference? Wouldn't it be nice of them to do a honorary roll of them each conference out of respect.I guess that's too much to ask, but certainly would be nice for the family's of those who died.

I believe the deadline for her to secure new council was last Friday or the judge was going to dismiss the whole case. Anyone know if she managed to get new lawyers in time?

I have a TBM friend in England who in her 50's adopted a baby. She has never married. Only problem she has faced is the church won't allow him to be sealed to her. Need two active parents for that.

to Lot's wife .... my story is abuse by Joseph Bishop in 1985 while he was MTC President. I was NOT a sister missionary. The church know of it, so do the police and lawyers. There is also another victim who's name i will not share due to keeping her private. Her abuse happened after her mission, Joseph was her mission President in Argentina. But her abuse happened while he was MTC president. A

This young man, was not living the "Mormon lifestyle" I found a mug shot and record for him from 2015. It was for 4 accounts of breaking and entering, 5 accounts of stealing and 5 accounts of drug charges. these were all in Ephram Utah. I cant get it to post on here, but a google search of his full name will bring this up. Still a very sad event for his family.

Pretty certain the minute "he washed people's feet" his fate was set. He did what no leader ever had the time or desire to do, help those who had been hurt. I think Sam also knew this day was coming, it was always a matter of "when" not if. He backed the church into a corner, they couldn't get out of it, this is their retaliation ...they will cause more damage than they

I too am a victim of Joseph bishop. He was MTC President when i was a guest in his home. There are more of us out there (victims) we just need them to come forward. We do know of another who has stepped forward. My story has not gone public with the details. But a lawyer has the whole story.

I got to wondering ...doe's anyone know of any missionary who refused to go home from the country they were in? Like maybe they were being sent home early for disobeying or something and simply refused to leave? Wonder if that has ever happend, and they went on a sight seeing adventure instead of getting on a plane home?
