Thanks, this is an important point. Those with symptoms, or who have been exposed to those with the virus, or who are immunocompromised, or are elderly or otherwise high risk should definitely self isolate. Masks help control the transmission under normal circumstances, but there are better ways to control it if the circumstances are known to be more dire.
