Whats your best "one liner" when the opportunity rises to say why you left the morg? Startilating and humourus is what I am shooting for. Sometimes there just isn't the time to explain.

People back then were superstitious, believed in black magic, thought that blood letting would heal, thought the world was flat, believed that killing a animal was pleasing to God, .... I am going to believe these people who thought they saw something miraculous......I DONT THINK SO.

For me when I came the conclusion that God doesn't prayers it was pretty much over, yeah Jesus seems like a pretty cool guy but it's all hearsay what he did. Remember in those days people were pretty gullible, people told stories, sheet got added to embellish it's meaning and now in this age we are supposed to believe it. if there is a just God he will understand what we are going through, if he'

Born in the church, Served a mission, temple wedding , 5 kids etc, lived the wow pretty closely, a couple of times a year when no one would know I would on a empty stomach guzzle two beers, I hated the taste but I would enjoy the buzz. The good thing about mormonism is that I preserved my body in my early years so that I can now enjoy alcohol in my later years. I am 64 now and so many of my frien

Life time member, until about 1998 when I discovered the Internet. I am quite proud of myself for always questioning the church in the back of my head then with the internets help finding my answers. Part of my up bringing my mother always told me if I did wrong God was going to punish me, so I was always looking over my shoulder for gods wrath. I remember when I was about 17 tasting beer for the

I remember, one year before my mission I thought I would try beer like my big brother who drank, I hid in a milk cooler where I worked and thought here goes. I guzzled a big mouthful, thinking I could be struck down immediately, took a long pause, wow that tastes like shit, but I am still alive. 40 years later, drink a couple every day.

Talking with a tbm cousin and the subject of horses in america, he brought up that sir francis drake observed large herds of horses off the oregon coast in 1539. So I googled it up and dang, there is some kind of account of it. So now how do you wrap that around your head that if it is true? Drake must have been smoking something the indians gave him.

I remember the story told in gospel doctrines about one of the assassins who died in northern calif somewhere. It was told he died a terrible death, also the grass atop his grave was dead where nearby it was all green, even a branch on a tree above his grave was dead.I always wanted to go see that but never did. Maybe it was because of the drought or the sprinkler was broken.
