I know what you mean, I also have simular feelings, I think that there are so many things, its hard to put them in order so that they would understand. I find myself jumping all over the place and that probably isnt the best way. Now I try to remember what the prophet said, "the church rests on JS, either he was as he said he was or the biggest fraud this world has ever known" OR SOMET

I say lets all late saturday night, make some kind of sign to be put on your local lds church lawn, saying something like, "whats the difference between joseph smith and warren jeffs?, NOTHING!", if we could get one member "thinking", we could get the ball rolling. We could be part of the AHA MOMENT!

Hypothetically, what if Mark Hoffman's salamander letter was actually a letter by Joseph Smith admitting that the BOM was a fictional creation and that the first vison was a lie? If the church were true, wouldn't church leaders know that this document could not possibly be a valid historical document? Why would they purchase such a letter if they knew that the church were true and that Joseph Smi

I put on facebook that I found mormonthink interesting, my tbm called me and started yelling at me to take it off, that I was shaming the family when I tried to talk she yelled shut-up and then hung up. Of course I unfriended her and continue to add to the fire. She is so afraid of all this anti-mormon literature, when all it really is just true church history, they dont get it!

Got tired of giving"the dog ate my homework answers". Starting off with, where are the gold plates now? Why did they have more than one wife? Why did Emma stay and not go west? Etc...etc...etc...after studying and studying, I guess I studyied myself right out of the church, I'm very proud of that. Now I am ready to jump on any lds with my knowledge of church history and hear their "

Sent in my request my name be removed, that no one contact me further, and i want it done promptly, what do I get in return? Dear Brother B, I have been asked to acknowledge your recent letter in which you request your name be removed from the membership of the church of jesus christ of latter-day saints. I have also been asked to inform you that the church considers such a request to be an eccl

Great video, I also went through the same things you did, I wish I could have had the internet earlier in my life, I read the mormon murders at 46, then with the internet discovered what you did, I feel cheated in this regard! Today there is no excuse for people not to be informed, who said "the glory of god is intelligence"? Oh I am polish too, I went to england on my mission, I met on

I now kinda feel embarrased now, being 59 years old, whole life, ( till ten years ago) a member, 4 years seminary , mission, raising my five children in the church, the whole enchilada, did not know js had many wives! I remember always saying when questioned about poligamy, saying there was a shortage of men and the men when traveling west had to marry these women so they would'nt die from the ha

I wish I remember the story better. Years ago I was talking to an old man about mormons, he was not lds but when visiting slc he was invited to this secret club, downstairs at some kind of long bar, it was all hush hush, most men were lds and he was told not to tell anyone, He seemed to be not making this up and was suprized I had never heard of it. Has anyone else heard of it?

Since were talking about temples, just to clarify, My ex still thinks we are sealed to each other, and even if I am married now to another, she and I will be together forever (gag). Of course I know differently, but since she has been so unchristlike in forgiving me and getting the royal shaft in finances, can or do I need to get a temple divorce to be rid of this woman? I know I should not even

I always had questions about Adam when I was a kid. One that I remember from early on is that Adam must have been a caveman, teachers could'nt come up with an explanation.

Having been a tbm for 49 years, I couldnt come to grips that mormonism was a cult, I thought that it was christian and mormons just believed a little differently but seriously it wasn"t a cult. Just now, 12 years later I am able to put mormonism into the "CULT" catagory. A little sad with all my family involved but I have been able to finally let go.

I've been not trying to follow the story on the sister wives show, BUT! just say that polygamy were overturned and was not against the law, would members embrace it like js and other leaders or would they continue say its against their principals, then continue it in the temple?

I remember the first time going through the temple, I was getting ready to go on my England south mission, I saw a cash register and they recommended locks on my locker!. I was dumb founded, I thought "you could leave a hundred dollar bill on the ground and it would still be there!" When I saw the cash register I thought about the money changers that christ chased out! Those were my fi

It just ticks me off when talking to tbms. When I bring something up that they dont like, they refer it to anti-mormon literature, when in fact it is in discourses of by, or in the dc, or other church references, when I say I will show them the reference they will not want to talk about it anymore,How frustrating!, I have come to realize now what others have said, and I know its true, It has to c
