I'd just like to say how much we enjoyed meeting the beautiful Msmom, her lovely husband and two of her grandchildren, both of whom were fine examples of American youth, very well behaved and interesting in their own right. Frankly, it was an honour - they are all so nice - and very interesting, too. We had a great time with them. Thanks Msmom and Doug for a what my wife called "une VRAI

I agree with all that has been said: Great Britain is a place full of mongrels - my origins, for example, include French Huguenots from whom I get my name, but also Welsh, Scottish, English - and who knwos what, because all my children were all born with a Mongolian Spot: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mongolian_spot which is caused by a recessive gene, so it means both my wife (who is of Fre

Terrible news, obviously. Worried about an intern from work, too - we're on a long weekend so he went home to Nice... Will find out on Monday :-( To earlier posters, we don't actually have that much "racial tension" here. This is religion. We do have religious vs. secular tension. I don't have a solution, but I don't think hatred or banning things will bring one. If there is on

These people are shockingly unrep

As someone who first came to this website from the anti-Scientology site Operation Clambake, thanks to an ex-Mormon poster there, I agree with all your observations. Being in a cult IS damaging and that damage may be lasting. Tom in Paris
