Story after story about early church history leading people away and love bombing bringing them back. Not just accepting them for who they are, but the constant pressure to return. *sigh*

...Keep people in the church. ROTFLMAO. Telling a story about someone who left the church, the. Came back because this woman wanted her children to have temple marriages. "And though she had problems with how the Book of Mormon came to pass, she could not deny the truths found there". Holy shiitake mushrooms batman. Can people not see the message? Believe whatever batshit you wa

I think that there are all different levels of attraction. And both guys and girls can be attracted to, and be in a relationship with, either sex at different points in their life. And someone can be "straight" and still have a relationship with someone who is the same sex. What about the million or so intersex people? Quit worrying about an external definition of a relationship and tal

So just noticed this and wanted to answer. The research was in looking into what the goal of the procedure was, and what the claimed outcome was. The goal is to align the top two vertebre of the spine to allow the nerve bundle that passes through them to not have any pressure points or binding. The claim is by doing this it allows the body to send and receive information the way it is desi

When I turned 40 the DGAF gene took over my body and my mind. Submitting to it has made me healthier, happier, an wealthier than I ever have been. Why do I post this here? Because the DGAF answers the question. In fact, it answers all questions. Philosophers will cry havoc and existentialists will wail at the brutality, but at the end of the day DGAF is the answer. Good luck :)

That is interesting. Once I was finally on the other side, my demeanor changed fairly substantially. In fact, when visiting my super TBM father he commented on how much more at peace I seemed. He followed up with he had never seen me happier. He asked me what had happened. I told him- I finally realized the lies and left. That led to a 4 hour discussion about religion, and he has not

Other than your entire premise being wrong, sure. There is no moral sense. Your are born as a blank slate.

In the CHI, there is a provision to pay a pianist if there's not one available. I would bring that up to the bishop. Tell him if they want you, they have to pay you. They won't do it, but they will never ask again.

To digress, Upper Cervical care(a form of chiropracty), which concentrates on the top to bones of the spine, enabled my wife to end all medications and stop a medical condition that we have spent over $150,000 out of pocket trying to fix with traditional surgeries and medicine. I did the research, what they do is logical, and makes sense from a body perspective. Laugh if you want. I am a b

I have been in three bishoprics, and I can tell you, the bishop makes all the difference. I worked with one who had a formula, and judgement for anyone needing help. While a nice man, was a complete ass. I worked with another who followed the spirit. Anyone who asked for help got it, whether they were a member or not and whether they were active or not. The direction is to give according

If JS had not been martyred, the church would have fallen apart. In fact, it was already deteriorating. Brigham Young and his iron fisted rule built TSCC into what it is. But Joe did it because he was a sociopathic megalomaniac. He wanted to control other people. Money is just the result of such an attitude.

I have said here and elsewhere for the past 5 years that the church is broke. Everything they do points to them being cash strapped. I was just speaking to a building person that said they are no longer putting multiple pianos in buildings. They are putting 2 pianos and the rest keyboards instead. Also, they are no longer building stake centers in some areas, relying on technology to d

So...I sing in the choir my wife is the director of. It is the one gesture and the only time I participate in religious nonsense of any kind. She is a rabid football fan, and even though she hates both the Seahawks and the cheaters, she is still canceling choir to watch football. yeah!!!

I talk about it all the time, DW gets pissed when I blow people up. She has been close to a breakthrough several times, when I do shit like that is slows down her progress. The only thing I care about is getting her out. Not silly little 19 yr old girls who have never had an original thought.

I did not read all the responses, but the way to tell her is: " I do not believe, I never will, and here are the reasons. I love you very much but I am not willing to live a life full of wasted time and lies because of a dishonest institution that programmed us from a young age. I would love it if we could continue our journey together, but not if you think there is the slightest chance o

The sister missionaries left paper hearts taped all over our door last night. Said they love us. They have no idea who we are, I asked DW about it and she said "they have been trying to come see us since December, I don't pick up their calls." Also, the YM pres. took me to lunch this week to and we talked about TSCC. He is also the DW HT. I told him if he ever testified that he "

So if your still reading concerned husband I have a different point of view. So what? She has a confidant that believes the same way she does and provides the emotional support you can no longer give. Before you found out dis you feel distant from your wife? Maybe you should find someone who fills the needs she no longer does. And for those who say it is cheating, it absolutely is, an

The church is beyond broke. I have said it over and over again. Everything they do shows how broke they are. It will come out. Just wait.

The church is beyond broke. Think Enron broke. Everything they are doing is to try and not let it show. I would be willing to bet the church is deeply in debt, overextended and those who live on the church are scared. I know that is the exact opposite from what everyone thinks, but fear of losing it all is making them do crazy shit.
