Agreed that this qualifies as a "bellowshish" GC statement, but only when accompanied by flying egg. "I'm a Mormon, you idiots. A MORMON!" Laughed a lot and thoroughly enjoyed your prose, elderolddog. October General Conference can be your debut. All those in favor, raise your eggs.

Okay, I cannot stop at one. I offer up a few more.... This is boring. What else do you have? President Nelson, Which of Joseph's 34 or so wives is your personal favorite? How long is this meeting anyway? Whose up for a beer? Raise your hand to the square if you wonder why the chocolate brown seer stone was out of sight gathering dust for so long. Apostles, where was the discer

Pretentious sums it up nicely. "Showy" he was, and yes! Holland missed the boat by not arranging (you know, by doing that talking to God he rants about) to rent the heavens and all.

I found the following statement in his tirade to be telling..... In its entirety, it reads, "Beloved friends, as we unite across the globe each week in what is an increasingly sacred acknowledgement of Christ's majestic atoning gift to all human kind, may we bring to the sacramental altar more tears for his sorrow and more pain at his grief." The words seem to me to be declarin

I have been watching the live link on the Honor Code Sit-In and I say huge KUDOS to those participating and planning this event. It took some courage and guts, and is definitely what being a university student is all about. There was a big turnout. Never heard how many, but my guess is 300 to 400. The LBGTQ spokesperson (sorry I forget his name) was very articulate, knowledgeable and able t

This makes me irate.... irate like in how I felt about the MormonCult's bait and switch LGBTQ "revelation" handling with no damn apology for all the horrific hurt, family relation damage, and even deaths they caused. Bednar knows for sure that all along it has been the cult who has set the policy, the rule, the demand, that the temple ceremony be kept secret. It has gone on, just

Loved your comment...."Hahah showed these Profit have never really had to do the work of raising a family." Amen and Amen to that. Over and over they show their lack of knowing and caring, like when they call a thirty year old with three or even four young children to be a bishop. When I hear about this occurring, I want to grab the person responsible by the hair and have them be t

And about that MIND CONTROL. It is scary stuff. As I watch it in action with the MormonCult, with those I know and love under its clutches, it so makes me try once again to come up with someway to break them free. So I do try, fail, and will keep trying.

125 or so in the chapel along with crunchy cheerios and little voices....sounds like something I sat through before called SM. Fun to get the goods on how this program is working or not working, right? All I can picture as a mother on Sunday (back in the day) when opened the home door after those hours in church, all I wanted to do was COLLAPSE! But no, that could not happen when kids neede

I did not realize that you and the Correlation Program were such close buddies. Mostly I want to feel real sorry for you that such a thing "came to pass", but, in a way, you seem fairly happy in your obedience non-thinking. However, if you change your mind I know a group on the internet that would welcome you with open minds (and arms). Wishing you a beautiful Spring day.

You best market this idea before the 15 beat you to it (and it will include their special edition for their viewing only which has the enticing vixens roaming about). My only problem with the set-up is that as an ex-mo it sounds way too much like the theme of the BofM, wars and more wars, but a lot of people luv that so there you go.

Seems to me that people usually attend church to learn about their religion, and they, you know, expect those in charge, whether it be a priest or a bishop, to fulfill that role. I cannot imagine that tons of families are holding their hour of teaching each Sunday. Plus, the MormonCult already has Family Home Evening.....well, at least some members hold FHEs where religion is the theme. Al

What bothers me most is that as members get older, into their thirties and are still willing to live in an Orwellian world. By then they have the developed frontal lobe and enough experience to question that whole scene. Maybe I was just lucky, but I never was of the mind set that the Mormon Church or any other authority was going to tell me what I could read or what questions I could ask.

Haven't seen evidence that a god or gods exist, but plenty of evidence that god, gods, and religions are manmade.

^^^^^ Totally agree. That quote is so perfect....conscious of the future, where oh where will this lead? The sad truth is that even if there had been one of the white-haired-tired-clowns who had asked this question, it would not have mattered one teeny-tiny iota because, 3 1/2 years ago, this was their agenda come hell or high water..... And, guess what, hell and high water arrived and,

That's interesting about Rusty....maybe he's been touring the world a little too rigorously? I believe they won't mention the LGBTQ reversal because the less they tell the minions the less they have to explain. They've let it out of the bag through the news, and that's enough for those minions. Kind of like the essays. They could have easily announced those at GC, but doing it the way they

Old joke.....there is nothing fast about F&T Meeting. It is THE longest meeting of all. And, I would be remiss if I let this time go to waste and not bear my testimony..... I know, beyond that thar shadow of doubt that the MORMON church is a cult that has weirdos and creeps who feel for garments and others who want to sell you this and that or invite you over and over and over to come

I officially resigned as I wanted to be off their rolls AND be able to say that is what I did. I did it the old-fashioned way, not on line, and it took time, but every minute was worth it! I can say this....I did not choose to be in the MormonCult as I was indoctrinated to be baptized at eight when I DID NOT know in any shape or form what the hell being a Mormon meant. Buttt, I did cho

Repentance is only for peon members, while the big whigs rely on their 2nd annointings. All the lives broken, taken, hurt and damaged in the LBGTQ deserve, at the VERY LEAST, a sincere apology for the revelation in November of 2015 and for the reversal revelation this April month of 2019 (that it was even needed). Their actions on high make me sick to my stomach. Disgusting. Foul. Revo

Treats for certain words muttered in conference is the good than comes out of it according to a five year old! Then the child asked me if I would be watching conference. No, I replied. Why not? Because I don't want to. Her eyes got big. But you are supposed to watch it. I believe differently than that. And then she changed the subject.

Now that would be, for sure, one very bright Lighted Pen Rev! Would Rusty resign if that happened? How many TBMs would stampede out the door and head to Hilldale to start their own cult? So many questions. Hey God, how about giving it a go and Rusty can always change your mind if he and Wendy decide to before they go on their next world-tour!

All of them? I doubt that for sure. But, thank Ananna, a big ole chunk of them are coming around, have found their senses and are using their amazing brains for something besides reading the BofM, listening to mormon books on tape, or planning yet another family home evening. I think there is a huge rainbow (no, not complete) shining over the whole Salt Lake Org area that will only grow mo
