I resigned a few years ago and did a celebration dance in honor of it . I had been inactive for a year I think prior to sending in my resignation. I was glad to do it then. I now realize that I didn't really have to formally resign because they don't have power over me and never did . I don't have to follow their rules and neither do any of you wether you are a member or not.
