I thought Chad would plead guilty before the trial to avoid the death penalty. I predict he will get the death penalty and remain on death row for many years.

Kentish, I agree with you, it's nonsense so who cares? But... why not change some of the details of the relatives like make small changes to spelling of middle names and maybe change one digit on birth date. If baptism for the dead is really true, they should get a "not baptized, login not correct" error.

Nightingale, well said. This woman has now had her 15 minutes of fame. I was also add, if this is discriminatory or unreasonable, try your attire at work (unless employment is a stripper), doctors office (in the lobby), dentist's office or just go into a a restaurant. I feel bad for the flight attendants that have to police the aircraft for any kind of bad behavior. I'm sure they are not making e

Do we have to be a Christian or Atheist? If you are a good and honest person, I don't care what your label is. I personally don't like the term atheist, it's like being in the "Santa Claus is not real club". For you Christians, I have no idea if there is a supernatural spirit of the universe but if you bring me evidence, I will consider it.

This is an interesting map. I went to areas I'd lived in and yes, there were pins.

Honestly, I thought the stoning law never left the books. This is one of the many consequences of a religious state.

I lived in Las Vegas for a year and joke goes... The Mafia runs Vegas at night and the Mormons during the day. Yes Mormons work in the casino business.

I have no idea who Jordon Page is but did read the link. Two quotes that struck be odd. -We are discontinuing our marriage (who talks like that) -There commitment to love and support each other. (hmm, why don't you just stay married?) I would love to be a fly on the wall when Bubba finds out the amount of his child support.

Mr Haight has some good ideas on paper but they have no realistic chance of happening. The schools have been politicized and cell phones are just a tip of the iceberg. Like all problems in today's society, there is no quick or easy fix.

While reading this I decided to look at the Community of Christ site (RLDS). Very interesting reading if you were brought up LDS. Among other things, Moroni was not mentioned. https://cofchrist.org/history/

I'm trying to imagine a school teacher who went into teaching to help children and now reading this proposed legislation. I suspect they are now counting the years to retirement or deciding what other vocation they can enter.

Sounds like you're an expert. My recommendation is to never get any vaccine because the decision will be political for a while.

My wife's daughter is in a similar situation in Oregon. Because of the teacher shortage, her school is paying for her Masters to get her quicker advancement (more pay). BTW, I spent many Friday and Saturday nights at the Bengal Hut.

My thoughts on this post: -First and foremost, don't we have enough problems in our public school systems without one more issue? -With that said, yes, this an issue. How serious? I'm not sure. -I see two groups fanning the anti-trans debate, the religious fanatics that don't believe trans-gender is real and the ones who feel trans athletes shouldn't participate in woman sports. -IMO, this wi

I agree Summer, it's political nonsense. More importantly, to your original post, teachers are leaving in droves. No one is addressing that issue.

I agree with you Summer. I remember pouring chemicals on my lawn to make it grow so I had the privilege of mowing it every weekend. I always felt my lawn would be declared a chemical dump site...

We got out of the home ownership when we retired. We sold most everything and disposed of the rest. I hear the drum beat for home purchase all the time, especially from the young people. For the people who own homes, eventually they have to tell me how much it's worth. I'm not suggesting you shouldn't buy a home but just giving an alternative opinion. We rent a furnished corporate apartment which

I remember in the 90's Mormons starting saying it's not for armageddon but in case there is a hardship like unemployment. My answer was always, "put that same money in a CD or the stock market". In the end, it's really about armageddon.

I don't know why everyone is so surprised. All the religions are fleecing their congregations. Remember when Kenneth Copeland justified his jet fleet?
