Bill and I had been friends for years. His wife called me this morning with the sad news. He lived in the Atlanta area and had left Mormonism about the same time as I did around 1995. He contracted diabetes when he was in his mid 20's and suffered from it for over 30 years. He had several heart attacks and other serious side effects in the last couple of years as a result of this disease.
