Just in case.......

If anyone sees this and wants to go to a gay mormon dinner, we're going to meet at a BBQ restaurant in Long Beach, tomorrow night (Saturday) in Long Beach, CA.

The restaurant needs to know how many, so if you can make it, you'll need to contact me ASAP, so I can add you to the list.

So far, we have 8 people coming.

We do this every month. It's not an "official" Affirmation event, but it's mostly Affirmation folks who come.

In years past, we had a much more organized and "eventful" group, but now, it's just to eat together & socialize. All gay-friendly people with at least some mormon background or connection are welcome.

Mormons hate gay people.
Mormonism does not accept homosexuality.
The Mormon church actively seeks to deny equal rights to LGBT Americans.
Why would a gay person want to stay in Mormonism?

Um.... well, I don't want to "stay in Mormonism."

And most of the dinner group doesn't, either.

We just like to eat. Any excuse to get together and go out to eat is valid.
