When I was almost finished with my mission the MP called and wanted me to come to the mission home for what I thought was my exit interview. I do not remember much about the interview except he seemed very interested in if I knew anything about any of my past companions having gay sex while a missionary and he wanted details. He also wanted names and details of any other missionaries that had been involved in gay sex in the mission.

He seemed upset that I knew nothing about anyone having gay sex.

There was no mention of being a successful missionary, turning an elder that wanted to go home into wanting to finish his mission. Turning an area that was going to be closed to having the most baptisms in the mission. Nothing about being a good missionary, he just wanted info on gay sex.

I spent a whole day getting back and forth to the mission home just so he could try and find out if I knew of any gay elders in the mission. What a waste of money. I always thought he was gay so maybe he was looking for a couple of new AP's to travel overnight with.

Just a quick correction, sex is sex it isn't gay or hetro.

Gay sex= people of same sex having sexual relations.

Hetero sex = people of opposite sex having sexual relations.

The stake president was only interested in sex between missionaries of the same sex...hence the use of the term "gay sex"

SWK spent much of the 1960s and 1970s tracking down gays at BYU. If he caught you, he made you give up a list of all your gay acquaintances, and threatened to expose you to your parents. He then did this to the people you exposed.

If Mormons spent as much time solving real problems, like hunger, illiteracy or global warming, as they do persecuting gays, then they might actually make a positive difference in the world.
