New Colorado Temple Groundbreaking - Invitation Only

In the picture I recognize former mayor Ray Martinez (purple shirt, no tie) and current State Senator Vicki Marble (sandals, sleeveless dress).

Invitations must not have specified a dress code. However, Sen Marble is generally clueless.

Boring looking temple. Looks like an expensive glorified stake center with an overblown steeple.

I see that the mormon PR department failed to stage that photo shoot properly. Not enough obviously black people and/or lamanite.

I failed to find evidence on the internet that Sen. Marble, owner of a bail bond business, is Mormon. There is a 2001 police report documenting underage drinking at a July 4th party at her home.

I always laugh at the phrase "temple worship". There isn't any worshiping done in those buildings. Watching a movie isn't worship.

In that same comment Mr Hunt said he was "really excited about the new property". Yes, it is a prime piece of property in an affluent part of town.

The phrase "giving service" is puzzling to me. Does that mean I won't see the missionaries straightening the clothes racks the the Goodwill once the temple is built?
