In my interview before going to the temple to be sealed to my father (at age 19), I confessed to my Bishop of not being a virgin and that I had had sex with two previous boyfriends. After my confession, he asked me if I had ever had sex with a woman. I was floored. That question came out of the blue. I was very active in the theater community and had a lot of gay male friends. That is the only reason I can think of for his question. Are there any female posters on the board who were asked this question? BTW, this was in the mid-70's.

My little sister and a female friend went to the bishop to ask about dating protocol. They were teens, and this was in the seventies.

"Are you two having a lesbian love affair?" was the bishop's first question.

I was also asked if I'd ever had sex with a woman. Of coarse, I'm a man. But really, the only time I was asked specifficlly about homosexuality was in my pre-mission interveiw. It's supposed to be a "searching" interview.

He asked if i had a girlfriend i said no and he said are you gay

Only the most intrusive evil cult would do this. Horrible. And parents let kids go for these interviews. Floors me. Stand up for your kids....stop this madness.

Mine asked me If i had committed any sexual sins.i was younger than 14 at the time.

What did you think about that?

I honestly think that sometimes they are just trying to arouse themselves. I mean honestly, why would he ask you about lesbian sex? He was hoping to hear a juicy tale, thats why!
