Why The Mormon Church Is Sending So Many Missionaries To Idaho

Not sure if this was already posted here, but, I thought it was an interesting read, especially the comments. Looks like some mormon trolls are defending the faith.

I liked this line, what an apt description of missionary work:

"For Colby Denton this is God’s work. But he admits it can seem a bit like selling Scentsy or Pampered Chef to friends."

He mentions that one of the challenges is getting past peoples barriers.

That comment pisses me off. I have barriers, (commonly known as boundaries in the real world) for a reason. One of them is to not engage with religious cults.

And they wonder why people don't like mormons.

The whole article was annoying. The story about the poor guy wanting to get married but his GF wants him to convert is just sad.

Putting two mishys in every ward so they can convert all the members friends seems very cult-like to me. The priority is selling the religion, not about a belief in a Christ.

There's no mention of the rest of the state just Boise ! Maybe the morg hasn't found a way to swamp southern Idaho with more missionaries yet I hope!!??

Given their logic, that more members equals more conversion opportunities, I would guess Southeast Idaho is next on the list for Idhaho locations. Ugh!

Knowing my cousins and brothers, they'll probably invite them in for a beer or two. Either that or they'll be met at the door with a gun. Never know with those guys up there.
