Stranded in Kansas City

We're visiting our daughter at her college, to watch her play on the womens basketball team.

They have guest rooms on campus, thankfully.

This little ice and snow storm will likely keep us here a couple extra days.

I hope everyone else from Denver to NYC is doing okay in this stuff.

i ALMOST went to the midwest this week

a couple weeks ago i was planning on a business trip to st.louis, kc, and beyond...but my 8 oz cups of crab haven't made it in yet! so i didnt get stranded in the midwest..... shucks.... coulda used a couple days r&r in the ole midwest!!! <<sigh>> oh well... gonna go in feb...so there still is a chance i will see snow this year!! hey Tim ..you seeing snow yet?? and i dont mean on the T.V.!! :)

Ugh. I am having flashbacks. Last Xmas, I spent trying to get through from Kansas to Denver, moving my daughter back home. Not fun. You have my sympathy.

We're outside of Chicago and it's a mess here...our winds are 50 mph + and you can't see across the street...

This is just a good ole blizzard that we could do without for sure....nothing left Chicago airports or Indianapolis today...all major roads are closed as is Lake Shore Dr. 25 ft waves are on the road...

Nothing is moving...and then it's going to get cold and snow some more...
