Happy for them. :) It's still kind of strange to see same-sex couples and be accepting of them and strip off the instant judgement, but I am trying to be open minded, and I do understand better now the extent of their feelings. It is so wonderful to just understand that we are here to love each other, no matter what. Best wishes to this couple!

This wouldn't be allowed in Provo or any of the other heavily Mormon areas of Utah.

Someone correct me if I am incorrect about this: But, I was under the impression (and from personal experience) that there is a large group of gays living in SLC.
So, for that reason, I was not surprised by the engagement surprise.

This kind of thing just might catch on!
