A good friend of mine created this drink:

Hot Buttered Hooker

One mug of your favorite hot cocoa (the mixologist recommends Stephen's Cinnamon made with whole milk)

1 shot butterscotch schnapps
1/2 shot Kahlua

Mix. Drink. Repeat as necessary to take the chill off.

our newest favorite from Seoul. Koreans drink it cold, but we like it hot. It is good for digestion and tastes delicious. It is made from a kind of plum and sugar that ferment together for 3 years - just add water - about 1 cup water to 1 tablepoon of maesil syrup. No alcohol - or not much anyway.

That sounds wonderful. I love plums.

Oh, man, some nice, hot sake would go down like gangbusters about now!

12 degrees here in Moab right now, supposed to get 5 below and 15 below tomorrow night. And add a big wind chill to that.

I'm staying home and drinking a hot vanilla steamer. :)

Okay, I am about to say something completely and totally heretical:

I wish I had some decaf on hand. [/heresy] I've got some Bailey's around somewhere, but I don't do caffeine in the evening.

I'm in SLC and it sounds like our temps are about the same.

Since I don't imbibe, I'll make myself some of Ron & Frank's hot chocolate.

It'll be colder tomorrow here in Georgia.

a medicinal hot toddy ;-)
You get those really good hot apple cider mixes;
dump one into a friendly glass or mug...use the
nyquil measuring cup if you don't have a shot glass,
and give yourself a shot or two...
great for colds and aches :-)

We loved fall/winter in Germany where you could buy Glühwein in the open air market stalls.

You can make your own but some stores like Whole Foods or German speciality stores offer "tea bags" of spices under the brand name Glühfix.

Warm Courvoisier Cognac V.s.o.p. in a sifter. That's my prefered antifreeze
