I think I have it figured out.

Guidelines for determining a true prophet:

- If you only have a few followers, such as Brian David Mitchel, you are crazy and need a mental evaluation.

- If you have a few thousand followers, such as Warren Jeffs, you are a false prophet.

- If you have a few million followers, you are a true prophet of God.

- If you have a few billion followers, you are the leader of the church of the devil.

If Thomas S. Monson truly believes he is a prophet of God, God's spokesman on earth, and that he communicates directly with God, he too needs a mental evaluation.

I suppose it's one thing to believe in God, or to have the hope there is a God; a hope that there is something after this life. But if you can look at another MAN and believe he is God's prophet and speaks for you in all things, then YOU need a mental evaluation.

Huh - maybe that's why they are cutting back

on the missionary program. Too many followers will make Mormonism the church of the devil.
