Wellsville, not sure I understand your question (of course don't understand a lot of stuff here). What did you mean by asking if LDS was part of nondenominational growth? If you're saying the LDS drives a lot of other faith's members away from the organization, I don't think so, only because I don't think knowledge of Mormonism is that widespread (other than the polygamy thing).
Nondenominational churches have no 'parent organization' if that would be the way to put it. LDS would not be included in these. These are often, but not always, superchurches.
I think what the article is saying is that there is a new generation of Protestant churches out there that affiliate with no denomination. They just want to read the Bible, pray and worship without all the other mumbo jumbo. Mormonism would not be included in that.
